SUMMER SCREEN: AARDMAN FAMILY DAY

We’ll be screening Early Man, the stop-motion animation family adventure from Aardman Studios, with activities and entertainers performing throughout our FREE, fun-packed Family Day on Saturday 17th August. 

You can build your own Aardman character at one of three Aardman Clay Modelling Workshops running throughout the day. The workshops are led by one of their expert model makers and you can sign up on the day. We’ll also have entertainment from Rhubarb Theatr and the World’s Tallest Bubbleologist, face painting AND even complimentary popcorn during the Early Man screening.

Aardman Animations are giving you the chance to learn how to make your very own Hognob character at these fun, hands-on clay modelling workshops. Led by one of their expert model makers, you’ll also get the opportunity to ask questions about the tricks of the trade from the Aardman studio.

Early Man

Early Man is a sweet and funny tale that follows caveman Dug as he defends his way of life against the new Bronze Age. Along with his sidekick Hognob, he must find a way to defeat the evil Lord Nooth. Stars such as Eddie Redmayne, Tom Hiddleston, Maisie Williams and Timothy Spall voice this epic adventure. Aardman Clay Modelling Workshop

Aardman Animations are giving you the chance to learn how to make your very own model of Early Man character Hognob at these fun, hands-on clay modelling workshops. Led by one of their expert model makers, you’ll also get the opportunity to ask questions about the tricks of the trade from the Aardman studio. Workshops last for 55 minutes and you can sign up on the day. Each workshop has a maximum of 24 places and places will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
