WORLD AIDS DAY: RED RUN LONDON AT VICTORIA PARK

This year’s Red Run London event will take place at London Victoria Park in East London on Saturday 30th November to raise awareness for World Aids Day.

The UK’s largest HIV community fundraising event celebrates its 10th birthday this year and marks the occasion at a momentous time in the fight against HIV.

A person living with HIV which is diagnosed early and being treated is now likely to live as long as non-HIV peers of a similar age and background. London has exceeded the UNAIDS 90:90:90 target, and the city has seen a dramatic fall in new HIV diagnoses.

However, despite such developments, there is more to be done. There is still a lot of stigma surrounding HIV and there are still far too many people undiagnosed and being diagnosed late.
