Our Lady of Kibeho hosts premiers in Stratford

Described as “The most important play of the year” by The Wall Street Journal after its premier in New York, Our Lady of Kibeho hosts its UK debut in Stratford this year.

From 25th September until 2nd November, you can see Katori Hall’s play at Theatre Royal, Stratford East. The play is just part of an exciting programme of productions this year at the Stratford theatre.
The plot of the play surrounds a young girl at Kibeho College in Rwanda. She claims to have seen a vision of the Virgin Mary that warns her of Rwanda becoming hell on earth. Nobody believes her of course, until other students start to have the same vision and she is vindicated as events in Rwanda begin to unfold.

Katori Hall has presented a moving account of the events that unfolded in Rwanda. The production is atmospheric, theatrical and presents questions of faith and everyday miracles.
Read more about the play and book your tickets at the Theatre Royal website. Ticket prices increase as the theatre fills, so early booking is advised.
