Sainsbury’s too is following guidelines and is dedicating opening hours reserved for the elderly and vulnerable. Since Monday 23rd March, they are also offering online delivery slots as priority to elderly and vulnerable customers.

Iceland

Where: Stratford Centre, E15 1XF
When: 7am – 8am Weekdays only

Last but not least, Iceland also took to Twitter on Friday March 21 to say that the first hour of trading at each store across the UK (see their store finder page for specifics) is reserved for the elderly and NHS workers, while the final hour is reserved purely for the latter.Do note, however, that this looks to be exclusive to weekdays only.

If Iceland isn’t your usual choice, bear in mind that frozen food can make a great alternative to your usual fresh produce which can be rationed out for longer, thus minimising your number of shop visits.
