Coming together with events at IQL
The return to the office post-COVID has brought us back together with friends and colleagues. And since enforced homeworking began in early 2020, we’ve learned a lot about isolation, loneliness and what the office really has to offer employees (we talk about that in more depth here).
We want to celebrate collaboration, working together and enjoying being around people again, so we’ve pulled together a programme of events and special offers for those working and living at IQL that will run throughout the year and into the next. Here’s everything that’s coming up over the next few months.
From 12.30pm – 1:15pm every Wednesday, in-person circuit classes (yes – in person!) will take place at The Spark at IQL, on the grassy area behind Pret.
You can book through the IQL app and turn up in your fitness gear ready for a workout. The perfect lunchtime fitness hit – you can even drag a colleague along with you!
Run Talk Run is now operating across the country: a gentle, non-competitive 5K that also encourages people to talk to each other to help everyone’s mental health.
Starting at Workable, the runs will follow routes through the local area, including Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Details can be found on the Life @ IQL app, or you can download the “MyCrew” app which will then provide you with all the details.
This is a free event and will take place every Tuesday at 5.30pm.
Is there a better way to socialise with colleagues and network with new people – than over food and drinks? We don’t think so.
On Wednesdays throughout February and on specific dates in March, we’ll be hosting a variety of food focussed events, including: the IQL Food Fest, the Welcome Back Breakfast with IQL favourites Signorelli, St Patrick’s Day community drinks, resident drinks and free pancakes on pancake day!
We’ll also hand out some free coffees throughout the month – so look out for us across IQL or keep your eyes peeled on our app.
For details and to register attend any of the above, download and create an account on the Life @ IQL app.
It’s a good way to improve productivity and let off some steam – getting messy!
We all have different outlets, so for the creative brains amongst you we’re hosting some crafty classes – one to make your crush / partner / pal a Valentine’s Gram, and one to make a lovely card for your Mum (be it biological, work Mum, or otherwise).
We also have some exciting plans up our sleeve for the coming year – free manicures, professional headshots, Easter egg hunts, yoga sessions, lunch deliveries and free ice cream. We’ll keep you posted here and on our app with the latest details.
And remember – the purpose of everything taking place at IQL is to create a sense of community here at the heart of Stratford. We want to create opportunities to cultivate, collaborate and, quite frankly, be happy! We look forward to you joining us!
