Loose Connections - Isabelle, Community Manager at Equiem

In celebration of our loose connections and the wonderful benefits they bring to our lives, we’re interviewing some of the very important people that you might meet if you work in, live in or visit Stratford.

We want to introduce you to Isabelle (Izzy). Izzy is the Community Manager at Equiem, our partner tenant experience platform here at IQL, who created our Life @ IQL app. She has come in with high energy and wants to make sure that you have the best experiences at IQL. We have dug a bit deeper and found out more about your new Community Manager.

Hi Izzy! Tell us a bit about what you do for IQL?

As the Community Manager, my aim is to make sure that everyone is happy, has the Life @ IQL app and is as well connected as possible. I am still new and learning the ropes, but I worked on some great IQL events already, including community drinks at Haugen, virtual Christmas decoration workshops and even a coffee/breakfast giveaway. One of my main goals moving forward is to make sure that there are enough activities and events that everyone wants to join in on and attend!

What is your favourite thing about working at IQL so far?

Honestly, the people. Every single person working at IQL is absolutely fantastic. They are all so nice and they always greet you with a smile no matter what. After almost 1 1/2 years in lockdown, it is nice to be a part of something and be surrounded by such kind and amazing people.  I honestly wouldn't want to work anywhere else!

Can you name somewhere you’ve loved visiting in Stratford?

Haugen! 100%. I am so excited to try their amazing fondue and delicious cocktails!

If you could have any super power what would it be? And why?

Teleportation. My family lives in America, so I would love to be able to just pop in and see them for a little bit and then come back to London.

Tell us something people can talk to you about. A passion or hobby.

Anything really. I love travelling, history, finding new restaurants and sports. If anyone ever wants to have a chat about football, come find me!

Can you tell us a goal you have for this year?

I would have to say my goal would be to visit at least 5 new places. They can be restaurants, cities or even streets in London.
