Loose Connections - Mike at Figo London

In celebration of our loose connections and the wonderful benefits they bring to our lives, we’re interviewing some of the very important people that you might meet if you work, live or visit Stratford.

Figo reflects both the tradition and the modern aroma of cucina italiana! (That’s Italian cuisine to you-and-me) Their menu spans specific regions over the country, where tastes have evolved over centuries of good eating. Mike and his team graciously fielded some of our questions.

Hi Mike! How would you describe Figo in less than ten words?

One of the Top 5 Italian restaurants in London.

And can you tell us something special about your Figo restaurant?

What makes Figo special is that it’s the only Authentic Italian Restaurant in the Westfield.

What would you say makes your team exceptional?

They’re great in accommodating our customers and suggesting the best combination of food and wine.

Is there something you want to achieve this year?

As a business, we’re trying to achieve number one position in TripAdvisor and Google.

And what’s your favourite item on the Figo menu?

LE'GRAN ROMANA [Spaghetti with Parmiggiano Reggino and Pecorino cheese, black pepper, butter, bayleaf served on a wheel of Pecorino cheese.] See the menu here.

"Our team is great in accommodating our customers and suggesting the best combination of food and wine."

Tell us something people could talk to you about to no end.

How would you like to have your pasta?

What do you do to relax?

Cooking.

What would you like to be doing in 5 years' time?

Expanding our locations all over London.

Thanks Mike. We normally end with quick-fire questions, but which ones would you pose to diners?

Italian Zuccinin Fritti or Fries for starters?

Vegetariana or Margherita pizza?

Thin crust or stuffed?

pasta or spaghetti?
