Everyman Cinema comes to IQL

Lendlease is thrilled to announce that Everyman Cinema has joined IQL as the anchor leisure tenant in the Turing Building, due to be completed in 2024.

Alongside the 350,000 sq ft of office space available to rent, the 21-storey building will contain event space, an active lobby, a roof terrace and of course a cinema space on the ground floor – the future home to the Everyman Cinema at IQL.

The Turing Building is set join Stratford’s innovation district and revolutionise the workplace, with amenities that champion workplace wellbeing and encourage tenants to form connections with the wider innovation community. Future tenants can enjoy everything the Turing Building has to offer, whether that’s taking a break on the roof terrace, taking in the spectacular view over Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, or taking a trip to the cinema.

Named as one of the healthiest districts in London to work in by the Centric Lab last year, Stratford is in the midst of a cultural boom with the East Bank development on the horizon welcoming giants such as the V&A, BBC and UCL East, set to open this autumn. IQL Stratford is well on its way to revolutionising the way we work, and the way we shape connections with our colleagues, workspaces and the surrounding area – all of which are important to wellbeing.

The future Everyman Cinema at IQL will provide something special for workers, residents and visitors to enjoy in the heart of the thriving development, surrounded by lively neighbourhoods and beautiful green parks.

IQL is becoming one of the most exciting destinations for forward-thinking businesses in the UK. As well as responding to corporate and consumer priorities of sustainability, wellbeing and flexibility, having the right amenity mix is critical to ensuring we create places where workers, residents and visitors want to spend time.

That means we have to get the ground floor right, and when the decision was made to have an integrated cinema to support the cultural boom in Stratford, Everyman was top of the list. We’re delighted to have them here, as part of a landmark building that will define IQL for generations to come.
