GETTING TO THE OLYMPIC PARK FROM STRATFORD STATION: VISIT INTERNATIONAL QUARTER LONDON

With nearly 70% of our community arriving at IQL or the Olympic Park via Stratford Station, the following routes are written with that in mind.

The obvious one: Through Westfield Stratford

Taking a stroll to or from work through Westfield has its benefits – one of Europe's biggest shopping centres is on our doorstep. We leave the station and walk between Starbucks and EAT., before taking your first escalator up one floor and turning directly left. When you walk straight ahead (past Urban Outfitters), you'll exit into Chestnut Plaza, and IQL stands before you. Or to get a bit more fresh air, take the external stairs up next to H&M and walk along The Street, where you'll exit into Chestnut Plaza.

The alternative one: Along Montfichet Road (a favourite of IQL workers)

Leaving Stratford Station by turning immediately right, away from Westfield, you can walk along Montfichet Road and turn right onto Westfield Avenue. Use this one to mix things up – it takes around the same amount of time, arriving at Endeavour Square past Glasshouse Gardens, our two residential towers. Plus, it's a pretty quiet route, so you can avoid all the hustle and bustle.

The one to avoid: Through the car park

While using the route through the car park may seem simple, we're asking you not to use this as it is a car park and comes with the expected hazards. The footpaths and crossing points within this space were not designed to hold large numbers of foot traffic and we'd like to ensure that nobody gets injured.
