Haugen

An obvious choice to sit atop our list, Haugen is based right here in IQL’s wooden Pavilion – a glorious three-floor alpine dining and drinking experience.

Arguably fast becoming one of the best pubs in Stratford (as well as an exceptional dining experience!), Haugen is a casual but sophisticated setting with a well-curated beverages list. With all menus taking inspiration from alpine ski resorts, wines, beers and cocktails from Germany, France, Italy and surrounding European countries can be expected. In terms of cocktails, expect spritzes, schnapps, and other classics, again prioritising European ingredients!

What’s more, the rooftop is open once again for the spring/summer season. This means stellar views of Stratford’s skyline, al fresco drinks, live entertainment and that much anticipated sunshine! If you’re partaking in after work drinks in Stratford, visit Monday – Thursday from 4pm – 6pm, where “Apres Hour” cocktails are all £6!

The Mezzanine

A “world-class” cocktail bar nestled in the lofty heights of The Stratford Hotel, The Mezzanine is a sophisticated experience and a great spot for socialising.

If you’re looking for something a little more interactive to enjoy with colleagues, keep your eyes peeled on the Mezzanine website. Each month they host events, from live music to cocktail masterclasses – a great opportunity if you’re new to a team and looking to get to know your colleagues!

Terrace E20

Yet another stylish space located within The Stratford Hotel, Terrace E20 is an outdoor space that serves up casual, but quality fare. Open 7 days a week from 12pm – 11pm, you can enjoy al fresco brunch, dinner, or pizza, with comfortable, casual seating and outdoor heaters for the cooler evenings.

The afternoon and evening food menu is brief but perfectly formed – pizzas, salads and nibbles a plenty whilst brunch adds in some delectable eggy options, sandwiches, burgers, and smoothies.

Instead of 2 for 1 cocktails, the two for two deal runs Monday to Thursday, 12.30pm – 3.30pm. Enjoy two pizzas and a bottle of prosecco for £35 or two pizzas and two glasses of wine, spritzes or Peroni for £25.

The Cow

One of Westfield’s bars that almost borders IQL – so handy if you’re working on Westfield Avenue or Redman Place!

The Cow is owned by London Group, Young’s, and is a lively place midweek from 5pm – 9pm! This is where you’ll find a huge selection of drinks, nibbles and food that will cater for all tastes – a great all-rounder.

It’s also a good option if you’re looking for after work drinks in Stratford with some sport! The Cow often shows major games and the occasional pub quiz takes place each month for those with a competitive streak!
