New Pavilion to Open-Up Stratford Newest Quarter

Work is set to start on a new 10,000 sq. ft. pavilion at Endeavour Square within Stratford’s International Quarter London (IQL). IQL, a joint venture between Lendlease and LCR, is Stratford’s newest quarter linking future-focused workplaces, new homes, and a diverse range of shops, restaurants and businesses. Those involved in the project joined together this week to celebrate the new space by hosting a traditional ground-breaking ceremony ahead of the next phase.

The amphitheatre-style pavilion will link IQL with the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (QEOP), offering two new restaurants, a café and lots of publicly accessible outdoor space. It will also feature a roof terrace giving visitors views of the QEOP and the London skyline. The pavilion has been designed by architects ACME and will be complete in late 2020.

*The pavilion is a working title for the building. The name will be decided nearer completion.
