Where is the IQL Summer Screen located?
The screen is located in at The Spark, a multi-coloured park space at International Quarter London in Stratford. The postcode to find the screen is E20 1HT.
International Quarter London is between Westfield Stratford City and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
How do I find the IQL Summer Screen?
The screen can be accessed by turning at Pret. You will see the event team and access to the screen once there,
Look out for IQL Summer Screen posters and floor signs nearby. Visit our webpage for helpful walking routes from Stratford Station.
What is the best way to get to the IQL Summer Screen?
Public transport is the best method of transport for those travelling distances to visit the screen. Cycling or walking is the best method for those living or travelling from nearby. There is a large Santander Cycles docking station moments from the screen, situated by the Aquatics Centre, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Are there bicycle parking facilities at the IQL Summer Screen?
Yes, there are multiple cycle stands at the entrance to the screen.
What are the closest stations to the IQL Summer Screen?
Stratford and Stratford International stations are both less than a 10 minute walk from the screen.
International Quarter London is 9 mins from Liverpool Street and only 7 mins from St. Pancras International. The train stations are served by the Central and Jubilee lines, DLR, Overland and TFL Rail.
Is there parking available at the IQL Summer Screen?
There is no specific parking for those attending the screen. The nearest parking is at Westfield Stratford City.
To park at Westfield, Car Park A & B are accessed via Roundhouse Lane and Car Park C is on Montfichet Road. Use either E20 1EJ or E15 2EE for older devices to be directed to all Car Parks. Westfield is asking that visitors use Car Park B where possible at this time.
Accessibility
Is the event wheelchair accessible?
Yes, there is a ramp into the amphitheatre seating area and a wide pathway to the rear of the amphitheatre.
Will the showings have subtitles or audio description?
Yes, screenings will be closed captioned.
At the event
What time should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 15 minutes prior to the time your showing starts to ensure that you are checked-in and seated before the screening starts.
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing something to sit on. A picnic blanket or cushions are welcome but please do hold onto these in windy weather.
For evening screenings, we recommend bringing warmer clothing as the temperature of the day cools.
For hot-weather screenings, please bring water and wear appropriate sun protection. The location of the IQL Summer Screen is a suntrap and doesn’t offer much shade.
Is there food and drink available at the IQL Summer Screen?
Yes, our host of nearby retailers are offering food and drink options and special offers for screenings. These can be ordered via the Life at IQL app – use the QR code displayed at the screen to download this or visit the Apple or Android store to download the app in advance.
Is there WIFI at the IQL Summer Screen?
Yes, there is WIFI across the International Quarter London access by selecting IQL WIFI on your device and following the instructions to register.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Yes, BYO food and drink is welcome. We ask that you take your rubbish with you and recycle whatever you can. There are bins at the IQL Summer Screen, and a recycling bin is located at the entrance to the screen.
What is the check-in process for the IQL Summer Screen?
You will receive an SMS reminder 30 minutes prior to the screening you have booked tickets for. Please follow the link in this message to check-in prior to arriving. The team will then check your confirmation email when you arrive and will ask you to check-in using the NHS track-and-trace App.
Is seating pre-allocated at the IQL Summer Screen?
No, seating is allocated on a first come, first served basis within the amphitheatre space.
Do you provide blankets at IQL Summer Screen?
We are unable to provide blankets in 2021 due to the risk of spreading Covid-19. Please do bring your own blankets.
Do I need ID to visit the IQL Summer Screen?
ID is not required to attend a showing. If you wish to drink alcohol at the screen or purchase it from one of our retailers, you may be asked for ID.
How will I be able to hear the film or showing?
The screen has two speakers that project sound into the amphitheatre. Sound may be briefly lost during some screenings due to the nearby trainline. Subtitles and audition will be used on all film screenings to ensure this doesn’t interrupt your viewing experience.
Are there restrooms at the IQL Summer Screen?
We do not have restrooms at the screen. The nearest facility is at Westfield Stratford City.
What happens if it rains?
Our screen is an all-weather screen and screenings may continue in light rain or if a brief show is expected. In the event of heavy rain, we will cancel screenings and will communicate via email to the email address you used when booking your tickets. We will do our utmost to reschedule screenings that have been cancelled.
Are dogs allowed at the IQL Summer Screen?
Well-behaved dogs are welcome at the screen. Please ensure you clean up after your dog. The nearest dog waste facilities are…Please be mindful of dogs on hot days – the area where the screen is situated offers no shelter and is a suntrap.
What do I do if I’m feeling unwell?
Please talk to one of our ushers. Team members are trained to administer first aid and to support you if you feel unwell.
Bookings
How many tickets can I buy?
The maximum number of tickets per booking is seven.
How much do tickets cost?
There is no charge for tickets to the IQL Summer Screen showings.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that you let us know by email to communitymanager@lifeatiql.place if you are unable to attend. Please let us know at the earliest possibility to give someone else the best possible chance to get to book the tickets. No-shows will not be able to attend future screenings if they haven’t attempted to contact the organisers.
The showing I wanted to book seems no longer available. Is something wrong?
If the showing is preventing you from booking tickets, this means that this particular screening is sold out already. We hope you can find another showing to enjoy.
How do I book tickets?
Tickets can be booked by visiting the Life at IQL website or by downloading the app – visit the Apple Store or Android Store.
I have not received a confirmation email. Will I need this for entry?
No, you will be able to register via the link sent to you via SMS 30 minutes prior to the screening, at the number you provided when booking your tickets.
What is your ticket transfer policy?
You are able to give your tickets to someone else or book them as a gift. The person attending will need confirmation of the booking in order to attend the screening.
What dates will the IQL Summer Screen run?
Showings will take place from Monday 28 June to Sunday 5 September.

Films start at various times. Please refer to the programme for a particular film’s start time.
